Synaptic Connection

Synaptic Connection is a peer mentorship program within MBS that aims to bridge the gap between the Undergraduate Neuroscience Student cohorts. Underclassmen are paired with mentees to learn not only more about the neuroscience major, but also to grow familiarity with the vibrant community through various social and career bonding events. 


Mentors: Neuroscience majors with junior or senior standing

Mentees: Freshman, Sophomore, and Transfer Junior Neuroscience majors. Freshman that are undecided about Neuroscience are also welcome to join


Requirements: Mentors must meet with each mentee one on one at least once a month and hold meet at least twice a month with their entire group


Events: One social event per month. These include:

  • career panel discussions

  • study breaks 

  • movie nights

  • more!
